Sold in Murrieta, Home in Ladera Ranch — How I Helped One Family Handle Their Whole Move

Most people think of a move as one transaction. Sell a house, or buy a house. But for a lot of families, it’s both at once — and that’s where things get complicated, and where having the right person in your corner makes all the difference.

This week I got to be that person for a family I’m really proud to have worked with. I sold their home in Murrieta, and I helped them buy their new home in Ladera Ranch. Both sides. Start to finish. One coordinated move.

Why “both sides” matters more than people realize

When you’re selling one home and buying another, the two deals have to dance together. Timing the sale so you’re not carrying two mortgages. Lining up the closings so you’re not homeless for two weeks or rushing into the wrong house. Negotiating both transactions with your interests protected on each end.

When one agent handles both — someone who knows your full picture, your timeline, your budget, and what you’re really trying to accomplish — that whole dance gets a lot smoother. Nothing falls through the cracks between two agents who’ve never spoken. There’s one person accountable for the entire move.

Here’s a number I’m proud of: their Murrieta home sold in 27 days, while the average home in the area was taking around 63 days to sell. That didn’t happen by accident. It came from pricing the home right from day one, preparing it to show well, and getting it in front of serious buyers — not hoping the market would do the work for us.

That’s how I prefer to work. Not just “list your house” or “find you a home,” but get you from where you are to where you’re going.

Riverside to Orange County — a move I’m seeing more often

This family went from Murrieta to Ladera Ranch — Riverside County into Orange County. And they’re not alone. Plenty of families are making moves like this for schools, for work, to be closer to people they love, or simply because the next chapter is calling them somewhere new.

The direction doesn’t matter as much as the support. Whether you’re moving into Orange County, across it, or out of state entirely, the hard part is the same: two transactions, one timeline, a lot at stake. You shouldn’t have to manage that alone.

If a move like this is on your horizon

Maybe you’re thinking about selling and buying at the same time. Maybe you’re not sure if the timing works, or whether you can pull it off without owning two homes at once. Those are exactly the questions worth talking through before you decide anything.

That’s what I’m here for. One conversation, both sides of your move, no pressure — just a clear plan and straight answers.
